Introduction
Stampli, an AP Automation Platform, provides the ability to connect Entra ID with Stampli accounts so users can sign-in using just SSO or a combination of SSO and/or Stampli credentials. In this document, you will learn how to set up Stampli as an application in your Entra ID portal.
Overview
You must have an Entra ID subscription and Application Administrator permission. Below is an overview of how SSO is configured:
Step 1: Entra ID Application Administrator adds Stampli to Entra ID portal
Step 2: Entra ID Application Administrator enters the application details within the Stampli portal and sets user login options
For details on Stampli’s support for SSO SAML 2.0, please view this Stampli Help Center article. You must be signed in to the Stampli application to view.
Add Stampli to Entra ID Portal
To enable SSO for Stampli, follow the steps below:
Step 1: As an Application Administrator, log into Entra ID and navigate to “Enterprise Applications” and click “+New application”
Step 2: Click “+Create your own application”
Step 3: Add “Stampli” as the name of your application and select the “Integrate any other application you don’t find in the gallery (Non-gallery)” option, and hit Create.
Step 4: In the app overview page, click “2. Set up single sign on” , then select “SAML” as the SSO method
Step 5: Edit the following “Basic SAML Configuration” details:
In the “Identifier (Entity ID)” field, add https://app.stampli.com/

In the “Relay State” field, add your Stampli ID (this is the ID used when logging into Stampli, and is also found in the upper right corner of the Stampli portal upon login)
If you are not aware of your Stampli ID, please contact a Sampli user within your organization
Step 6: Click “Save”
Data needed to configure Entra ID with Stampli is now available within Entra (scroll down to Section 4)
Note, the Logout URL is not needed as a part of the integration
Step 7: In Section 3 , navigate to the Certificate (Base 64) field, and download the certificate.
Configure Entra ID SSO in Stampli
Next, the Entra ID SSO information must be entered into Stampli to complete the connection and integration. The following information (generated in Entra ID) will be needed to be entered into
Stampli.
Step 1: Enable Single Sign On:
Stampli > System Settings > General > Enable Single Sign On > Enabled
Step 2: Configure the SSO connection
Click Configure, then copy & paste the requisite connection data in the Single Sign On Configuration Window
Login URL = Identity Provider SSO
Microsoft Entra Identifier = Identity Provider Issuer
SAML Signing Certificate (Base64) = X.509 Certificate
Copy & Paste the code from the downloaded certificate, including the —--Begin Certificate—-- and —--End Certificate—-- lines
